Privacy and terms

Narra runs in your browser. The text you type, the audio it makes, the captions and the videos are created on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. There is no account and no server of ours that could receive them.

What your browser downloads

• The voice models, from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), the first time you press Speak. Your browser keeps them so the next visit works offline.
• The model runtime (ONNX Runtime), from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net).
• Fonts (Geist, Instrument Serif, Anton, Nunito), from Google Fonts.

Like any website that loads files from another server, those providers see your IP address and browser when the file is requested. They do not receive your text.

What is stored on your device

Your choice of light or dark appearance and of language, in local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them. No cookies are set.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It sees which page was opened, the country and the type of device, never what you type.

Using the voices

What you make is yours, including for commercial use. The Spanish voices are licensed under OpenRAIL-M, whose terms apply to everyone who uses them here. In short, you agree:

• to label what you publish as AI-generated (TikTok, Instagram and YouTube have a switch for it);
• not to impersonate anyone without their consent, defame or harass people, or spread false information to harm others;
• not to use them against the law, to harm minors, or for the other restricted uses listed in the licence.

• English voices: Kokoro-82M (Apache 2.0), run with kokoro-js.
• Spanish voices: Supertonic 3 by Supertone (OpenRAIL-M licence), and its int8 build from sherpa-onnx.
• MP3 encoding: lamejs (LGPL 3.0).

Privacidad y condiciones

Narra funciona en tu navegador. El texto que escribes, el audio, los subtítulos y los vídeos se crean en tu dispositivo y nunca se envían a nosotros ni a nadie. No hay cuenta ni ningún servidor nuestro que pueda recibirlos.

Qué descarga tu navegador

• Los modelos de voz, desde Hugging Face (huggingface.co), la primera vez que pulsas Hablar. Tu navegador los guarda para que la próxima visita funcione sin conexión.
• El motor del modelo (ONNX Runtime), desde jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net).
• Las fuentes (Geist, Instrument Serif, Anton, Nunito), desde Google Fonts.

Como en cualquier web que carga archivos de otro servidor, esos proveedores ven tu dirección IP y tu navegador al pedir el archivo. No reciben tu texto.

Qué se guarda en tu dispositivo

Tu elección de modo claro u oscuro y de idioma, en el almacenamiento local. Si borras los datos del navegador, desaparecen. No se usan cookies.

Estadísticas de visitas

Contamos las visitas con Cloudflare Web Analytics, que no usa cookies ni te sigue entre webs. Ve qué página se abrió, el país y el tipo de dispositivo, nunca lo que escribes.

Uso de las voces

Lo que creas es tuyo, también para uso comercial. Las voces en español tienen licencia OpenRAIL-M, cuyas condiciones se aplican a todo el que las usa aquí. En resumen, te comprometes a:

• indicar que lo que publicas está generado con IA (TikTok, Instagram y YouTube tienen un interruptor para eso);
• no suplantar a nadie sin su permiso, no difamar ni acosar, y no difundir información falsa para hacer daño;
• no usarlas contra la ley, para dañar a menores ni para el resto de usos prohibidos que enumera la licencia.
